| Finding a Real Estate Agent | ||||
A good real estate agent should be in tune with the home buying process, and if you find the right one, will do everything they can to get you in your perfect home. In today's real estate market there are so many options. With homes listed in the paper, advertised on the radio, searchable on the internet and even television channels dedicated to showcasing available property, buyers sometimes feel overwhelmed at where to start looking. By employing an agent you have your own house detective. You tell them what you want and they take it from there. But before you get there, you must select an agent that fits with you. It's important to find an agent that is working for you. Again, the agent works for you. Don't just pick up the yellow pages and hire an agent. Ask around to other people who have recently bought a home and get referrals. Interview at least three. You will need to have a good relationship with your agent and be able to tell them exactly what you want in order to do this you should be comfortable with them. It may be temping to hire the agent in your area who has the most listings. Remember that with more listings comes more clients and that agent may not have enough time to spend on you. Even the smallest agent has access to all of the same properties as the big guys. The best thing to look for is their commitment to giving you the service you deserve. |
